Two photographs of mine that I shoot in Rome, were purchased this month by two collectors. One is going to stay at a lawyer studio in Rome, and one is flying to a lawyer’s home in New York.
Very happy
Thank you SIPA for this prize and for hosting such a beautiful awards ceremony in the heart of Tuscany, Siena.
An incredible amount of photos were submitted ( 49.429 ) and I am proud to have made it among the winners of this 2017 edition.
See you next time around, and possibly, with more women on stage receiving awards
After a couple weeks off discovering Sicily by car and Aeolie islands by sail boat, I am back in town and trying to process all the beauty I’ve encountered day by day in these amazing places.
In Sicily, time has stopped and as a nostalgic, I have to admit I’ve left a piece of my heart in Palermo.
The noise, the smells, colors, the narrow labyrinthine streets and the traditional cuisines you find there point to days bygone.
My experience went beyond my expectations and I strongly recommend a visit there to anyone reading this post.
A Postcard from Palermo to you.
Very little updates lately but definitely a fun time!
I’ve been working on several different projects, but among all those things, touring with these guys was a lot of fun!
For those who haven’t recognized them yet they’re IL VOLO.
Formed in 2009, italian tenor vocal trio Il Volo (The Flight) are one of the biggest names in classical crossover pop worldwide, with millions copies sold and a sound that combines traditional opera, pop, and classical symphonic music. I travelled around Italy with the tour crew and took photos of the band, every single night was a unique experience.
Isn’t being a photographer the best job in the world?
Me and the other #MasterOfPhotography contestants had a unique experience last winter being a part of an international talent show, so I am taking this opportunity to thank everyone who has been such an integral part of this journey: production, video operators, reporters, make up artists, stylists, Leica ambassadors and everyone of the hundred people we had around every day. I’ve made great memories and great friends, it was bittersweet on some levels but definitely a learning path.
Said that, I am receiving messages, emails, sms and kinds words from friends, family and strangers from all over Europe. Please know I am grateful and I appreciate your time and your feedbacks!
It’s time for the next adventure. xx
Ps. Here are some pics of my journey, from my shooting in Sicily to my time with Magnum Photographer David Alan Harvey and my MoP Family memories.
Here’s a fresh video trailer from our trip to Sicily, first task in Master of Photography. Never in my life I had travelled with so many friends, it felt like a big school trip and the plane was all for us.
I have made amazing memories and this is just a hint of those inspiring but also very tense and knees shaking moments:
What if you could finally bring the quality of a museum exhibition into your living room?
Continuing its focus on premium design, Samsung launched its newest innovation – The Frame.
It’s a new Samsung’s intelligent display and also the winner of the 2017 CES Innovation Award. It consists in a high end TV with an included collection of 100 art pieces to choose from and purchase. It is sure to please every design preference, it even features customizable wooden frames.
Instead of turning off like a standard TV, leaving a blank black rectangle on the wall, The Frame is designed to always show its picture when someone is in the room. It uses a motion sensor that keeps the image onscreen as long as it senses movement. When there’s no motion after awhile, the screen goes blank, saving power.
I am very excited to announce Samsung selected of one my photograph to display in The Frame’s art library.
Soon in worlwide stores!
I can finally announce the big news!
Me and other 11 talented photographers have been selected from thousands of entrants from all over Europe to be part of the Sky Arts Master of Photography talent show.
Watch us on Sky! Premiere May 25th. www.masterofphotography.tv

Thank you to VOGUE’s photo editors for selecting my work!
Several years ago when I started my journey in photography, my very first approach took place in the darkroom. Nowadays, anytime I smell chemicals my mind turns back in time and brings me back to those very long days spent developing, printing and printing and printing some more. Time flew so years did too.
Since January 2017 I grabbed two great “pocket” cameras and I am shooting a personal project I am very excited about!
Letting spring time, Rome and also some Masters inspire me
